The Vermilion YMCA Torpedoes is a competitive swimming team for children from age 4 to 19 years of age. The swim team is affiliated with the Vermillion YMCA.
The Principles of YMCA serve as the foundation of the team's approach toward competitive swimming which leads to self-confidence, understanding the value of hard work, the importance of health, self-respect, respect for others, and good sportsmanship.
The Vermilion YMCA Torpedo swim team participates in both YMCA Meets in the North East Ohio YMCA League, as well as USA Swimming Meets in the Lake Erie District.
New swimmers can try out for our team on September 17th and 18st during our normal practice schedule at Splash Zone.
