Polen Implement was established in 1932 by Tom Polen Sr. The operation moved to its current location at 42255 Oberlin-Elyria Rd in 1976 and is Carlisle Township's largest employer. Today, Polen is still a family owned and operated business run by Dick Polen, Tom Senior's son; Tony and Rich, Dick's sons; and Steve Jackson; Dick's son-in-law.
