The Oberlin Heritage Center is the community’s historical society and historic preservation organization. The Heritage Center, accredited by the American Association of Museums (AAM), promotes heritage tourism in Lorain County by offering guided tours of two house museums and a pioneer-era one-room schoolhouse. A full calendar of history education programs also is offered to the community. Family friendly! Guided tours -- Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (allow 1 1/2 hours).
