(125kb PDF) Effective May 1, 2008, the General Division of the Lorain County Common Pleas Court has journalized an emergency order revising the local rules related to foreclosure cases. The immediacy of the revised foreclosure rules was necessitated by the ever increasing foreclosure caseload. The text of the changes to Local Rule 16 can be read by clicking on the link below. (Rule 17 is attached for reference purposes. No changes were made to that local rule by this order.) The Court is now soliciting public comment on these rules pursuant to Sup. R. 5(A)(2). Please send any proposed revisions or suggestions for changes to the attention of the General Division Court Administrator, Tim Lubbe, at tlubbe@loraincounty.us by June 30, 2008.
