Why do job listings expire in 14 days?

In order to keep the job listings current all jobs are initially set to expire 14 days after they are added. Jobs can be extended for an additional 14 days at anytime. Simply log-in and click on the blue Extend button.

What happens if I fill the position?

You will always have control over your job listings. If you fill the job or are no longer looking for a person, you can manually expire the job. Simply log-in and click on the blue Expire button.

How many jobs can I list?

Each company can list an unlimited number of jobs. In fairness to prospective employees, we ask that you only list positions you are actively attempting to fill.

Can I reuse a previously entered job listing?

Yes. While prospective employees cannot view expired jobs, employers still have control over their listing. You can re-use an expired job and even modify the information. Simple log-in and click on the blue Re-use button. You will even have the ability to modify the job listing.

Why do I have to register?

Registration is required so that no one else can modify your job listings.

How much does it cost to use Hometown Jobs?

Thanks to the support of LorainCounty.com site sponsors and Hometown Jobs section sponsors users are able to list and view jobs on LorainCounty.com free of charge.

Can my job listings appear on my company web site?

Yes. There are 2 options.

1. After you add a job, you will receive a web address where your job is located. You can add this web address to your web site. When visitors click on the web site they will be taken into LorainCounty.com directly to your job listing.
