Business Students Advance to National Contests

March 22, 2000 — Four Lorain County JVS students will be advancing to national competitive events in Minneapolis, MN in late April. The students earned the right to compete nationally by winning at the State Competitive Events in Columbus on March 13 & 14. Rob Willi placed 4th in Spreadsheet Applications, Matt Buckosh placed 4th in Information Processing Specialist, Grant Runyon placed 2nd in BASIC Programmer and Meg MacDonald placed 1st in Extemporaneous Verbal Communications II. All 4 of the students are in the TechPrep program at the Lorain County JVS, Network Communications Technology class. We wish all 4 students good luck at Nationals.
