December 22, 1999 — Burger King, WOBL Radio and Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio are celebrating the 16th Annual Holiday Cheer. Holiday Cheer raises money to provide food baskets to needy families and children in Lorain County.

This year's goal is to provide over 3,400 food baskets and help thousands of Lorain Countians. Over the 16 years Holiday Cheer has raised more than $250,000 to help make the holidays better for the needy of Lorain County.

Holiday Cheer baskets are distributed by sixteen hunger relief organizations including: Elyria Neighborhood Center, Lorain Salvation Army, Oberlin Community Services and Well - Help, Inc.
