Hopefully you have taken a walk over to 2nd street and have seen the beautiful "welcome" sign carved from the "tree stumps". Once again this effort co-incided with the Black River Bicentennial celebration.
I am so happy to tell you that the next carving will be of the Lorain Lighthouse thanks to the very generous donation and sponsorship of that carving by the
The Port of Lorain Foundation and Lakeland Health Care Corporation. We are truly thankful to them and Mr. Paul Balcom for their support.
Weather permitting -Bud Emerson of Creative Chainsaw Carving ( Wellington) - will start to work on the Lorain Lighthouse carving on Tuesday Sept 25th. It should take about three days.
The next carving will be of a free standing "anchor and chain". Sponsorship is available for all 12 remaining trees, CVSI is a 501C3 . Please contact me for further information
