10/22 -- Things have been quiet on the CVSI front due to the fact that two of the Co-chairs have literally been away from the desk! Rich Robbin has been in South Africa on business and I was away in Europe. ( I think we have brought back some ideas for the village though)

Charleston Cemetery Flag Raising
6/11 -- Thanks to the donations from one who wishes to remain annonymous and Greg Stoutenberg, Ohio Rental, The American Legion, City of Lorain , Charleston Village Society , Frank Sipkovsky and Diane Medina - the American Flag will fly proudly for the 1st time in over 170 years at the Charleston Village Cemetery 6th Street.

5/17 -- Charleston Village has had the old sign restored in keeping with
Lorain Pride Week. Juan Perez and family on 6th street have done us proud! The sign looks wonderful and I know Mr. Haefka would be thrilled to see the work that has gone into restoring the sign he made over 17 years ago. Unfortunately Mr. Haefka has passed on. Juan would also like to thank Bob Renney ( Parks) and Chuck Camera ( Street)
