Contour Tool - Contour Tool began in 1986 as a supplier of cutting tools and tool and die services to the automatic screw industry. Today, with over 30 skilled employees, CNC machining and advanced wire E.D.M. production capabilities, the company provides high quality precision tooling and design services to various industries across the country. The recent addition of a 3-axis CNC surface grinder and a 5-axis CNC tool and cutter grinder add to their ability to meet tight delivery requirements. Duffin Manufacturing

Duffin Manufacturing was established in 1956 and just celebrated its 40th anniversary in Elyria. Duffin employs approximately 85 dedicated, skilled employees. The company specializes in the plumbing, appliance, valve and fluid power markets. Over 50 single-spindle, multi-spindle and CNC bar machines, with 60 second operation machines, including CNC centers, are used at Duffin. The latest technology in degreasing equipment is used with environmentally friendly solvents. SPC Monitoring insures quality parts to customers. Elyria Manufacturing - Elyria Manufacturing Corp. is a manufacturer of precision machined products. In its four separate locations in Elyria and North Ridgeville, the 71 year-old company employs over 100 highly dedicated people. Gehrke & Sons Manufacturing started as a family operation that has encompassed four generations. Gehreke is a limited run Job Shop that has manufactured and supplied Precision Machined parts for over 30 years. Their Primary Department consists of 25 Brown and Sharpe single spindles. The companies Secondary Department is supported by over 40 machining units, including C.N.C Equipment. Their core management staff offers over two centuries of Expertise. General Plug & Manufacturing - Established in 1955, General Plug & Mfg. was one of the first companies in the world to achieve both QS 9000 and ISO 9002 Quality Certifications for its cold-headed products. Employing approximately 150 people, General Plug & Mfg. manufactures pipe plugs, reducer bushings, pipe fittings, cold-headed and screw machine products and is recognized by its employees as a progressive and dynamic company. Hydro Tube Corp. - Hydro Tube is an OEM supplier for manufacturers of off road construction equipment and recreational vehicles. Hydro Tube was established in 1969 as a manufacturer of hydraulic tube assemblies for off road construction equipment, specializing in custom bending high pressure tube assemblies. Since its founding, Hydro Tube has moved into other metal fabrication and machining operations for construction equipment, off road recreational vehicles and other custom bending and machining operations.

Lorain County Community College - Lorain County Community College's Division of Engineering Technologies, located in the Nord Advanced Technologies Center, offers a wide variety of educational, training, and skills upgrading programs and courses in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Associate of Applied Science degrees in Manufacturing Engineering Technology are available in Computer Aided Machining, Mechanical Design, Plastic Processing and Quality Assurance. Certificate programs include Certified metalworking Technology, Computer Aided Design Operator, Computer Aided Machining Operator and quality Control. A+ Certification training in computer maintenance and networking can lead to a career as a computer repair professional or be applied towards several Associate of Applied Science degrees in Electronic Engineering Technology. Non-credit training through the Nord ATC is available in Programmable Logic Control systems (PLCs), PLC Interfacing, Machining Basics, and SmartCAM software and more. Customized training in specific applications can also be developed to meet the needs of Business & Industry through the Nord ATC.

Lorain County JVS Adult Career Center - Designated as one of Ohio's Full Service Centers in 1988, the JVS Adult Career Center serves 4,000 adult students annually. For adults looking to start a new career or update current skills, the JVS offers: career counseling and assessment, adult basic education/ged courses, job training, and job placement. Lorain County JVS Adult Career Center also specializes in customized training, where training is designed to meet the specific need s of each individual workplace. Rochester Manufacturing, Inc. - Rochester Manufacturing is a machining job shop that makes metal and plastic parts to customer specifications. Our plant contains many late model computer controlled turning and milling machines. Our inspection department is also highly computerized. Employees hired for our federally registered apprentice program need at least a high school diploma with preference given to vocational school graduates from a machine trades program. Sectional Stamping, Inc. / Sectional Die Company - Sectional Die Company and Sectional Stamping, Inc. are divisions of Shiloh Industries located in Wellington. Shalmet Corp., a subsidiary of Carpenter Technology Corporation based in Reading, PA, specializes in coil-to-coil, coil-to-bar, and bar-to-bar stainless and specialty alloy processing. Additional services include processing carbon steels, Eddy current testing, and bar-to-bar straightening. Shalmet’s corporate headquarters and sister processing plant is located in Deerlake, PA. T.A.P.E., Inc. - Established in 1967, T.A.P.E., Inc. supplies products to the aerospace, mining, appliance and automotive industries by manufacturing prototype parts, stampings, assemblies, progressive dies and tooling designs.
