Soul to Sole Shoe
Program
The Soul to
Sole Program, founded and directed by Mrs. Lori Campana, provides shoes
for Boys & Girls Club members and other related youth in the Lorain
County area.
Mrs. Campana first came up with the idea
for the program after listening to N.B.A. star Stephon Marbury on the
Gayle King Show. Marbury was promoting his shoe, the Starbury, which was
created as a low cost, high quality competitor to other high dollar
shoes on the market. Being very conscious of the economic needs of
Lorain County, as well as having knowledge of the programs offered by
the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lorain County and the youth it served, Campana
knew this would be a great way to reach the children in need.
Through the hard work and fundraising
efforts of Mrs. Campana, the
Soul to Sole program has been able to provide over 4,000 pairs of shoes
to youth
since May 2007. Along with members of the clubs county wide, Soul to
Sole has also worked with both the Lorain and Elyria City Schools in
which the Boys & Girls Clubs are affiliated.

program and how you can help with the effort, please contact Wendy
