Message: Exactly how many people expressed to you personnaly, the fact that they do not go to an event at the stadium because of portable facilities? Have there been discussions with the people involved in placing events in Avon Lake in regards to the "build it and they will come" scenario? Do you have any facts that state that if the facilities were better there "would", not "could", be more events there. You know statements from athletic organizations, band festival coordinators, and so forth. What was the last "event" that did not come to Avon Lake because of the condition of the facilities? Do you have examples? I wish I could live a life of assuming instead of reality. Me telling a bank I assumed I could pay a loan back, would not fly. Why should assumptions of eceonomic impact be acceptable here? Look if it passes, so be it, I gotta pay for it. And that's the way it is. I just don't think it's necessary.
