Re: issue 11&12 Really?

27...WOW...feel like I was reading War and Peace. Listen she could be the nicest person in the world. That's great (the ED lady). But I am telling you it is and always is about the money. Especially when someone says it's not about the money. What did the schools offer her... a million 2 or something like that. Would she have take 1.5 or 2.0? I don't know what the number is and I don't care. At the end of the day all we are doing is arguing about price in this specific case.

I am glad she won and it's her right to hold out for whatever she thinks her land is worth. Just like those folks over near the interchange. There is no difference in my mind....except guys like you want that land and will rational why it's ok in the case of the interchange and why it is not in the case of the school. Would it still be ok for the city to take the land for the interchange if one of those people had terminal cancer and did not want to sell? I await the rationalization on this one.
