This team will be trained just like every other Advance team. However, there will be some differences in how this team will be handling tournament-playing time. We feel it is very important to tell you this up front so that you can make an informed decision and also to make your experience with Advance one that will bring you back the following years.

Every effort will be made to allow EQUAL playing time for all players. You MUST understand that following this philosophy, winning tournaments is NOT an essential goal of the team. Through our training however, we do expect the team to perform at a highly competitive level, which leads to success. It is critical that you as a parent buy in to this way of thinking should you choose to participate with Advance VBC 12U team

Structuring the 12U team in the manner we are proposing is simply allowing up to 12 young athletes to be trained in all aspects of volleyball. Developing better players is the ultimate goal.

When you choose to participate with Advance VBC you will be asked to sign this statement so that there can be no misunderstandings through the course of the season. We will expect you to support this concept and the coaches throughout the season.
