Dedicated to Edmond (Ned) Skimin
LorainCounty.com is dedicated to Edmond (Ned) Skimin father of founders Mike and Ed Skimin. Mr. Skimin passed away on February 2, 1998. Mr. Skimin's support and encouragement were instrumental in Mike and Ed's decision to start their own businesses in October 1996.
Mr. Skimin was a Math teacher for over 32 years at Lorain High School, Longfellow Junior High School and Lorain Catholic High School all in Lorain, Ohio. Mr. Skimin was also a city councilman for 10 years, a soccer coach for over 15 years and very active in the community.
This site is dedicated to the memory Mr. Skimin a man who always wished the best for everyone and always focused on the good in people.
