9/6 -- The Lorain County Medical Reserve Corps (Website | Profile) is hosting an MRC Kick-Off Day on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lorain County Community College's Spitzer Conference Center (Website | Profile). This event is free of charge for registered MRC volunteers and any interested Lorain County citizen who wants to learn more about this volunteer program. The purpose of the event is for volunteers and interested citizens to learn more about the Lorain County MRC and show how the MRC will work closely with public health efforts and response agencies during times of emergency and non-emergency.
