Dr. Montgomery earned his doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. He is both national and state board certified in chiropractic medicine. Dr. Montgomery completed his clinical training at Monroe Community Hospital; affiliated with Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, NY. His training focused on acute and chronic spine pain and short-term rehabilitation.
He received additional training at St. Joseph’s Multi-Disciplinary Clinic; affiliated with Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. His training focused on non-surgical management of sports related injuries involving the shoulders, hips and knees.
As a chiropractic physician working closely with family physicians, neurosurgeons, neurologists, and orthopedists, he develops non-operative treatment and rehabilitation procedures that are patient and condition specific. He actively engages patient participation, with additional focus on clinical nutrition.
He is a member of the American Academy of Spine Physicians, American Chiropractic Association, Ohio State Chiropractic Association and Northeast Ohio Academy of Chiropractic. He is team doctor for the Brookside High School Athletic Department. He has been a medical consultant for the Cleveland Action Sports Tour, “Mountain Dew Tour”, since 2007.
Dr. Montgomery is a member two physician health organizations; Primary Care of Northern Ohio in partnership with Community Health Partners and the Cleveland Clinic Health Systems Physician Organization. He actively works with area medical and osteopathic physicians in coordinating and providing the best possible care for his patients.
Dr. Montgomery is known for his caring demeanor and his dedication to the well-being of his patients. He has continued to strive for professional excellence by attending post-graduate lectures in areas of rehabilitation and nutrition. He regularly provides educational opportunities and programs to his medical colleagues in the areas of chiropractic and spinal rehabilitation.
