Compass House Inc. is an alcoholism/chemical dependency treatment agency providing services to the medically indigent in Lorain County. The goal of Compass House is to provide an abstinence-based, therapeutic environment within which the addicted person received the treatment, support and services necessary to assume a place in sobriety as a productive individual while living in accordance with a daily regimen of daily sobriety. Cognizant of the damaging role that alcoholism/chemical dependency plays within the family system, Compass House provides education and guidance to family members and significant others in order to enable them to break the interactive cycle of addiction and codependency. Compass House seeks to be active and provide readily available resources in addressing the social needs of Lorain and surrounding counties. We realize the necessity of accessing the services in the local community.
